Reader Question If I get a free extended auto warranty quote from the Internet…do I have to buy it from them? I just want to shop around first and compare prices before buying a service contract for my new car.

All applications are submitted to the administrator for the insurance company for verification and acceptance. They may not want to warranty YOUR car….they probably will, but they do reject coverage for some models or make the price so high you go away and not buy.
